Located just 1.5 miles away, the Ramada is the most convenient of all hotels near Tucson Convention Center. Built in 1971, the facility has 205,000 square feet of meeting space, giving it the size and flexibility to accommodate any type of function, convention, trade show, or banquet event.
Featuring the 9,275 seat Tucson Arena and 2 stylishly intimate performing arts venues - Tucson Music Hall & Leo Rich Theater - the convention center is the perfect place to watch Broadway plays, operas, and various music concerts. There is also the Grand Ballroom and Lobby, 4 multipurpose exhibit halls, a beautiful galleria, and several meeting rooms.
Although many shows and events pass through the facility each year, Tucson Convention Center has only one primary resident: The University of Arizona Icecats. Playing in Tucson Arena, the hockey team is a Division 1 member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association, and can be seen in action from October thru February.
The convention center also hosts a variety of events including the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show, Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus, WWE Wrestling, monster truck shows, and numerous other exciting events. (Convention Center Map)
